GRIEVANCE MECHANISM

APRIL announced its Sustainable Forest Management Policy (SFMP) 2.0 in June 2015.  This represents a major milestone in the company’s long-standing commitment to sustainability. SFMP 2.0 consolidates measures for monitoring and verification of policy adherence, including regular progress reports and third party review on implementation.

APRIL believes the next challenge is to ensure that its policy commitments are implemented on the ground.  To enable third parties to air any grievances should they arise, APRIL has developed a Grievance Resolution Procedure, on the basis of which all grievances are transparently recorded and timely managed with the involvement of concerned parties.  

All aspects of the grievance handling process will be documented for future reference and process improvement, and will be made publicly available in this dashboard.
